Monday 22nd July 2019

Save the date for the launch of our Eastwood Mental Health Hub. The open morning with refreshments will run from 10am until 2pm.

There will be an official opening at 10.30 when we will explain how the projects works and what we are hoping to achieve. Stakeholders are encouraged to attend as we will be on hand to discuss referrals and how we can work together to achieve the best outcomes for our service users.

The event is also open to potential service users. We’s like to involve people with experience of needing help with day to day problems in the development of the project. So please come along and find out more.

In brief the project will provide early intervention advice work to ensure that vulnerable clients receive help with problems before they reach a crisis situation. In delivering this project we are collaborating with Nottinghamshire Mind who will be providing one to one and group sessions aimed at building people’s confidence and resilience. We are grateful to Eastwood Volunteer Bureau who have made the venue available and are working closely with us to make this venture a success for the people of Eastwood and surrounding areas.

This is an exciting project for Eastwood and the pilot has been supported by Broxtowe Borough Council, increasing the support services available in the North of the Borough. Our event leaflet can be downloaded below.
