The MId-Nott’s Foodbank Referral Line was established to address concerns that Citizens Advice clients are unable to access foodbank vouchers in person from their offices during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is due to the traditional, ‘drop-in’ services being closed or limited.
It was therefore decided to set up a dedicated helpline to respond to the problem in partnership with Citizens Advice services in Ashfield, Broxtowe and Newark and Sherwood. After speaking with local representatives of the Trussell Trust, concerns were raised that people accessing food vouchers are not receiving the help with income and finances as they were pre-pandemic.

Check you income and entitlements
Issue an e-food voucher
Offer help and advice with debts and money problems
