In yesterday’s daily COVID-19 briefing the Secretary of State, Dominic Raab highlighted the serious of threats posed by cyber crime and scams relating to COVID-19. In his address it was explained that criminals will use every opportunity they can to scam innocent people and their businesses. They are experts at impersonating people, organisations and the police. They spend hours researching you for their scams, hoping you’ll let your guard down for just a moment. The Government has produced guidance for individuals and businesses on GOV.UK.
