White Ribbon Day is part of the global movement to end male violence against women. Wearing a White Ribbon is a personal pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.
Citizens Advice Broxtowe will be encouraging its staff and volunteers to wear a white ribbon during the Day, 25th November.
Please visit the campaign website at www.whiteribboncampaign.co.uk to make the White Ribbon promise to “never to commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women”
1 in 4 women are affected by domestic abuse in their lifetime and each week at least 2 women are killed by their partner or ex-partner. That is why Citizens Advice in Broxtowe work in partnership with other organisations that support women escaping domestic violence such as Broxtowe Women’s Project.
If you are experiencing domestic abuse of any kind contact us anonymously for help and advice.
